9 Soldier Snowman - Peace

Here's another winter card made with a digital image by Jim Harker. The image is printed on paper painted with white acrylic paint and then heat embossed. It's then colored with Copics, which is quite different from coloring with Copics directly on the paper. There's no real blending and the ink stays wet for a long time - it's more like painting.

Background paper is dry embossed with the new snowflake embossing folder from Provo Craft. The word peace, as well as the snowflakes, are cricut cut. Lots of white stitching to finish it off.

Thanks for visiting. Would love to hear what you think!

Materials:
Image: by Jim Harker in memory of Layton John Cleaver (information here ).
Paper: Bazzill, Becketts, DCWV
Ink/Color: Printer, Copics
Misc: Cricut, Cuttlebug, Sewing Machine, Acrylic paint
