9 Sweet Treats Thursday - Mardi Gras

The Sweet Treats team is creating again... this time its Mardi Gras!! Fat Tuesday!! New Orleans!! I made a card and a wreath for the occasion. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the card I used Core-dinations paper. The center-most piece is Cuttlebug embossed with the Fleur de Lis folder. All of these paper cut embellishments are cut with my Cricut. The Fleur de Lis is from the Accent Essentials cartridge. The party favor is from Wild Card.. I liked how it looked like waves coming out so I added a paddle boat (a New Orleans paddle boat, of course) from the Going Places cartridge. The star is from the Home Decor cartridge.

I then took a grapevine wreath and decked it out with a couple of strands of beads and hung a Mardi Gras Charm I had stashed away. The paper cut crown is from the Home Decor cartridge, as are the Fleur de Lis and the stars.
